GBA: Minister, ACS, Chief Commissioner to review civic issues every month
Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has announced a new monthly review committee to address persistent civic issues like potholes and garbage. The initiative aims to improve administrative accountability and ensure that citizen complaints on the Sahaaya portal are resolved promptly.

To address issues related to garbage, potholes, streetlights, and other civic problems, a committee will review issues across the five city corporations every month, Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda announced on Thursday. He said he would be part of the review committee along with the Additional Chief Secretary and the Chief Commissioner.
The Minister was addressing presspersons after reviewing various development works across Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) corporations.
He said disorder had become the system in Bengaluru and that this needed to change. “Only when officials get their act together can we provide good governance. We have to improve the existing system. When officials perform their duties properly, citizens too will respond positively,” he said.
