The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has implemented a massive security protocol across Noida and Greater Noida for 13 days, starting from August 23. Section 163 of the BNSS will remain in force covering the entire Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate till September 4, in view of various festivals and the upcoming NEET PG examination.During this period, five or more people will not be allowed to gather in public places without permission. Police permission will also be required for processions, protests and public demonstrations.The decision has been taken in view of upcoming festivals, the NEET PG examination and the possibility of protests or demonstrations, according to an order issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Shaivya Goyal.Several major festivals, including Eid-e-Milad, Rakshabandhan, and Janmashtami, fall during this period.
