Gangster shot dead outside Haryana court; 14 rounds fired, 1 attacker caught

HISAR: Gangster Vinod Panu alias Kana was shot dead in the parking area outside the Hisar court premises on Thursday, while two others were injured in the incident.Around 14 rounds were reportedly fired during the shooting.Hisar SP Siddharth Jain said police received information about the incident at around 2.50pm. Vinod, who had a court appearance scheduled for the day, was shot in the parking area.“One person has been apprehended, and a weapon has been recovered from him,” Jain said.According to the SP, the deceased had around 32 criminal cases registered against him, including charges related to murder.Police are investigating where the accused came from and whether others were involved in the shooting.
