Two first-year students of Pachaiyappa’s College sustained multiple injuries after they were allegedly attacked by a group of armed youth inside the subway connecting Chennai Central Railway Station with Park Railway Station on Monday.
The Greater Chennai Police detained seven students for questioning on Monday evening. According to the police, the victims had arrived at Chennai Central Railway Station and were walking in the subway towards Park Railway Station when they were confronted by nearly 20 youth who had allegedly been waiting there.
