Ganesha pandal organisers must get a NOC, seek permission for temporary electricity connection from Bescom
Bescom officials in Bengaluru have mandated that Ganesha pandal organizers obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to secure temporary electricity connections. The move aims to prevent illegal power theft and ensure public safety during the upcoming festival.

With Gowri Ganesha festival approaching close, many small and large groups of people in various locations across the city are already setting up pandals to install Ganesha idols and celebrate with pomp and grandeur.
At the same time, officials of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (Bescom) have warned organisers against procuring illegal electricity connections to these pandals which is unsafe and poses serious risk to lives. They have stated that procuring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is a must for the organisers.
