Ganesh immersion meeting: Raichur District Administration issues strict guidelines to prevent untoward incidents
Raichur district officials have issued strict safety and noise pollution guidelines for the upcoming Ganesha immersion processions. Authorities are enforcing vehicle safety, banning entry to hazardous sites, and limiting sound system usage to ensure public order.

Raichur Deputy Commissioner Poovitha S. urged all Gajanana Mandals to strictly adhere to government guidelines to ensure a peaceful and incident-free Ganesha immersion process.
Chairing a review meeting at the District Administrative Building in Raichur on Sunday, the Deputy Commissioner stressed a peaceful Ganesh immersion.
“The people of the district and the Gajanana Mandals should join hands with the administration and the police by extending coordination to complete the peaceful and incident-free immersion of Ganesha idols,” she said.
Regarding safety, the Deputy Commissioner said that only experienced drivers must operate tractors or any vehicles carrying Ganesh idols, with no more than one idol per tractor. Youths are strictly barred from dangerously hovering around moving tractors or vehicles, she added.
