Gandhi’s teachings will continue to inspire all generations

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, local leaders in Vizianagaram emphasized the enduring relevance of his teachings on non-violence. The organization plans to install Gandhi statues in schools to inspire students to follow his ideals.

Rotary International District Governor M. Venkateswara Rao and Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi-Vizianagaram City president Karrothu Satyam on Friday said that Mahatma Gandhi teachings would continue to inspire all generations and make them to move in right path by adopting his ideals in their lives.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, they honoured a few freedom fighters and recalled their contribution to the nation.
Mr. Satyam asked all students to read books Hind Swaraj, My experiments with Truth and others written by Mahatma Gandhi who had achieved freedom through non violence as a weapon.
