The trailer of Taapsee Pannu ’s upcoming film, Gandhari , was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday (August 25, 2026). Written and produced by Kanika Dhillon, the film has been directed by Devashish Makhija and also stars Ishwak Singh, Swastika Mukherjee, Mita Vashisht and Chhaya Kadam in pivotal roles.
The trailer begins with the disappearance of Bani’s (Taapsee) daughter from a train. After that it is revealed that Bani loses her vision and has to train in order to find her daughter, who seems to have been kidnapped along with other girls. The story is set in the fictional town of Joypurra as Bani takes matters in her own hands to start her parallel investigation. The film promises to be an intense action-thriller, with Taapsee seen beating up goons with her lost eyesight.
