S. Harikumar has assumed charge as the Officer-in-Charge of the Kerala region of the Gas Authority of India (GAIL), a public sector undertaking functioning under the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. A native of Peruvaram, North Paravur, he has been serving in Kochi as General Manager (Operations and Maintenance). Mr. Harikumar is an alumnus of NSS Engineering College, Palakkad. GAIL, Kerala, is operating and maintaining the 645-km of Kochi-Koottanad-Bangalore-Mangalore natural gas pipeline (KKBMPL) covering nine districts across Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
