DCP party leader President Rigathi Gachagua has urged former President Uhuru Kenyatta to stay out of the current government’s affairs and enjoy his retirement.
Gachagua said Uhuru should not be drawn into efforts to support the government, arguing that he should instead be left to rest and remain removed from current political battles.
Speaking on Sunday during a Church Service in Nyeri, Gachagua said he would disagree with Uhuru if the former President chose to support the government.
He, however, commended the former president for maintaining that he does not want to return to active politics.
