A total of 1,968 students received their degrees at the 25th Graduation Day of Rajalakshmi Engineering College in Chennai on Sunday.
In his address at the convocation, Speaker J.C.D. Prabhakar said a degree should serve as a foundation for continuous learning, responsible citizenship, and meaningful contribution to society.
Encouraging the graduates to embrace change and remain lifelong learners, he said, “The future will belong to those who are willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn. As you step into your professional journey, do not measure success only by the position you achieve, but by the positive difference you create through your knowledge and actions.”
“Not everything will go well when something new begins, but in this government, everything is going well because of transparent governance. Our government believes in transparency. Everything must be transparent and accountable,” he said.
