A fundraiser has revealed new details about the young mother who was found dead in the sea off South Australia last week in a suspected double-murder suicide.
South Australian police found the body of Helena Wright, 36, and her 23-month-old daughter in the water at Cape Northumberland, 6km west of Port MacDonnell in South Australia on July 27.
Police then began the search for her missing 3-month-old son, who was never found, although police said teams would continue to monitor the shoreline to look for the baby’s remains.
Brad Wright, the woman’s husband, has not made any comments since his wife and children’s deaths.
A family friend started a GoFundMe for the family, which included an intimate photo of the family alongside a message of heartbreak and sadness, asking for funds to help pay for funeral costs.
