Fundraiser for family hurt in M9 crash exceeds €700,000
A GoFundMe campaign for a family injured in a fatal M9 motorway crash in Ireland has raised over €700,000. The crash, which killed five teenagers in another vehicle, has sparked public debate regarding road safety and social media regulation.

The GoFundMe for the three sisters and young boy injured in the M9 crash has reached over 700,000, with one anonymous donor pledging 10,000.
It comes as Mayo LGFA said it is also donating all proceeds from online ticket sales this weekend to the GoFundMe; nineteen LGFA club championship games are taking place across the county in Senior, Intermediate and Junior grades.
One of the family injured in the collision, Niamh Kinsella, is a member of the Claremorris Junior team.
The three women and a seven-year-old boy remain in hospital following the collision.
