Fruit processors donate ₹10 lakh to Chittoor govt. hospital

The Chittoor District Fruit Processors’ Federation donated ₹10 lakh on Thursday to improve infrastructure and medical facilities at the district headquarters hospital in Chittoor. Federation representatives Kattamanchi Bobby and Raghuram Choudhary handed over a cheque to District Collector Sumit Kumar.
All India Food Processors Association (South Zone) chairman Kattamanchi Bobby said the contribution would be for modernising the maternity ward and orthopaedic department and procuring essential medical equipment. In another contribution, Gurram Venkata Siddhartha of Gollapalli in Thavanampalle mandal donated ₹50,000 towards the hospital’s development.
