Frock Up This October for Ovarian Cancer Support

The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation is promoting its annual 'Frocktober' campaign to raise funds for ovarian cancer research. Participants are encouraged to wear dresses throughout October to increase awareness and support for a disease with a low five-year survival rate.
Why it matters
Ovarian cancer is a serious health issue with rising incidence rates, and public awareness campaigns are vital for funding research and improving survival outcomes.
Currently, the five-year survival rate for ovarian cancer is only 49% It’s time to change that.
The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation is calling on everyone to frock up this October for its annual Frocktober fundraiser, to raise vital research funds for a cancer that is projected to rise in incidence by 57% over the next 25 years.
This year’s campaign is built around the notion of “Frock Up Your Way” making it easy for everyone to take part. You can frock for the entire month, a single day or a themed week.
Frocktober has also introduced Frock Up Your Day on Wednesday 21 October, giving everyone a simple and meaningful way to take part by frocking up on the day and donating or grabbing an exclusive virtual frock online, with every frock helping fund ovarian cancer research.
