Fresh push for A.P’s Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line project
Amalapuram MP G.M. Harish Balayogi met with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss accelerating the long-pending Kotipalli-Narsapur railway project. The Andhra Pradesh government has committed to funding 25% of the project costs to expedite development.

Amalapuram Member of Parliament G.M. Harish Balayogi took up the long-pending Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line project with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Tuesday.
A delegation led by Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni and Mr. Harish Balayogi met the Union Minister and invited Mr. Vaishnaw to the State Dasara celebrations and Vijayawada Utsav-2.0.
During the meeting, Mr. Harish Balayogi informed the Railway Minister that the State government had given administrative sanction for ₹100 crore towards the Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line project, and committed to sharing 25% of the total cost of the project.
