Free online coaching for banking exams
The Erode District Employment and Career Guidance Centre is offering free online coaching for various banking examinations, including those for the State Bank of India and IBPS. The program aims to help candidates prepare for over 11,000 vacancies through mock tests and structured study materials.
Why it matters
Publicly funded coaching initiatives improve accessibility to government employment for students in regional areas, directly impacting local economic mobility.
The Erode District Employment and Career Guidance Centre will soon commence coaching classes for examinations conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI), Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
Notifications have been issued for 11,718 vacancies for the posts of Junior Associate, Local Bank Officer and Customer Service Associate. The classes will be held online from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In a release, Collector S. Kandasamy said the coaching would include daily spot tests, weekly tests, subject-wise tests and full-length mock tests. Candidates have been asked to register through the Google Form provided by the centre.
