Free entry to parks and museums on World Tourism Day in Visakhapatnam

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) announced free entry to all its parks and museums on Sunday (September 27, 2026) on the occasion of World Tourism Day.

VMRDA chairperson M.V. Pranav Gopal and Metropolitan Commissioner Ketan Garg invited tourists and local residents to make full use of the initiative.

The waiver applies to major attractions across the city, including Central Park, Kailasagiri, the Telugu Museum, the Submarine Museum, TU-142, the Sea-Harrier Museum, and Thotlakonda. Officials noted that the move is designed to encourage public participation and celebrate the region’s prominent tourist landmarks.
