Free buses for those aged 15 and under across Kent this August
Kent County Council is offering free bus travel for children aged 15 and under throughout August as part of a government-funded initiative. The scheme aims to encourage public transport use and help families save money during the school holidays.

Free bus travel for all children aged 15 and under is being offered across Kent throughout August.
It is part of the government's England-wide Great British Summer Savings scheme, which aims to help people enjoy breaks away for less.
Among the operators participating in the money-saving initiative are Fastrack, Arriva, Stagecoach, NuVenture, Chalkwell and GoAhead.
Spencer Dixon, deputy cabinet member for Highways and Transport at Kent County Council (KCC), called it "a great way to encourage more people to use public transport".
He said he was "pleased to support this government-funded initiative" which will "help families save money during the school holidays".
"Free bus travel makes it easier for young people to access activities, attractions and days out across Kent," he added.
