Bhuvana Dharmam Trust has launched ‘Abhayam’, a 24/7 free medical guidance and emergency support service for senior citizens in Coimbatore.

The initiative, spearheaded by senior cardiologist and PSG Super Specialty Hospital Director Dr. J.S. Bhuvaneswaran, will provide medical guidance and coordinate outpatient, inpatient and emergency care through a dedicated helpline, 95146 92026. The service will be provided free of charge, with no mandatory payment structure.

Abhayam has partnered with Prayojana, an eldercare service provider, to extend support to seniors whose families live away. While Abhayam will facilitate medical navigation, cardiology consultations and hospital visits, Prayojana will provide services including transport, errands and companionship.
