A four-year-old girl was killed after being knocked down by a car at Vadakku Mothapatti village in Viralimalai police station limits in Pudukottai district on Sunday. The police gave the name of the victim as A. Bhavyadasini of Vadakku Mothapatti. She was playing in front of her house in the afternoon and suddenly came to the road when she was fatally knocked down by a car and was killed on the spot. The Viralimalai police are investigating.
