Four of family found dead at house in Bengaluru’s Kottigepalya
Four members of a family were found dead in their Bengaluru home in a suspected murder-suicide case. Police are currently investigating the incident, which involved a 34-year-old man who allegedly attacked his parents, grandmother, and uncle before his own death.

Three members of a family were found dead at their residence in Kottigepalya under the Kamakshipalya police station limits in Bengaluru on Saturday (July 11, 2026) morning. A fourth family member, a 34-year-old man, was also found dead at the house in what police believe to be a suspected suicide.
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Mangalamma (55), Nanjamma (65) and Satish (50). The fourth deceased has been identified as Prashanth (34).
Police said their preliminary investigation suggests that Prashanth is suspected to have fatally attacked the three family members before his death. The exact sequence of events and the motive are yet to be established, and investigators are examining all available evidence.
The Kamakshipalya Police visited the scene and initiated an investigation. Forensic experts also examined the premises as part of the inquiry.
