Four members of a family were killed, and the driver suffered serious injuries in a road accident on NH-44 at the outskirts of Palamakula village near Shamshabad early on Saturday (September 19, 2026) morning.

The family was travelling from their native Mettugadda Thanda in Nawabpet mandal of Mahabubnagar to Shamshabad after Ganesh immersion when their Innova (TS 07 GZ 9333) allegedly rammed into a divider during the wee hours of Saturday.

The four occupants died on the spot. They were identified as Kethavath Limbya, 54, a businessman, his wife Kethavath Jamuna, 45, K Mansingh, 48, a businessman; and Kethavath Vasram, 45, also a businessman.
