Four killed after car hits truck in Dharwad district

Four persons were killed on the spot when a car collided head-on with a goods truck near Amaragol village in Navalgund taluk of Dharwad district in Karnataka on October 9.
The deceased have been identified as Ajith (32), Rakesh (22), Sandeep (33), and Shruti (28).
According to preliminary information, the car was going from Hubballi towards Vijayapura when it hit a truck coming in the opposite direction. The front portion of the car was completely mangled by the impact, killing all four occupants on the spot.
Navalgund police visited the accident site and shifted the bodies to a hospital.
