Toronto Fire officials say a man suffered second‑degree burns and three other residents were injured after a fully involved apartment fire tore through an eighth‑floor unit early Tuesday.

Division Commander John Carson said crews were called just after 3 a.m. for a fire inside a residential unit on the eighth floor of the downtown highrise, located in the area of Ontario Street and St. James Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames and smoke pouring from the apartment.
