The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) conducted surprise inspections in the Alwal area of Hyderabad on Sunday as part of its ongoing drive against illegal medical practice, identifying four establishments where individuals were allegedly practising allopathy medicine without required qualifications, registration or legal authorisation.
The inspection was carried out by TGMC members Gundagani Srinivas and Imran. Based on the findings, the council said it would initiate legal action against those found violating provisions of the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act and the Telangana Medical Practitioners Registration (TMPR) Act.
