The 4th Additional District and Sessions Court, Kalaburagi (Sedam Bench), has sentenced four persons to life rigorous imprisonment for the murder of Ramanna Gotur of Kuddalli village under the jurisdiction of Sulepet police station.

The court, presided over by Judge Sirajuddin A., delivered the verdict on October 6, 2026, holding all four accused guilty under Sections 120(B), 302, 450, 201, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Besides life imprisonment, the court imposed a total fine of ₹2.39 lakh on the convicts. Of this, ₹1 lakh each will be paid as compensation to the deceased’s children, Sahitya and Ajay.
