SHILLONG, July 23: Supercare Hospital will launch a four-day “World Hepatitis Awareness & Liver Health Initiative” from July 24 to 28, aimed at promoting liver health and increasing access to preventive care. The campaign, themed “Hepatitis: Let’s break it down,” is designed to educate the public on viral hepatitis, fatty liver, alcohol-related liver disease, and liver cancer. It emphasises the importance of early screening, vaccination, and medical intervention. The initiative begins on July 24 with public awareness sessions on disease transmission and prevention.
