Four-day Handloom Fair to begin in Mysuru from August 6
The JSS Mysuru Urban Haat is hosting a four-day handloom fair starting August 6 to celebrate National Handloom Day. The event aims to support local weavers by connecting them directly with consumers.

As part of the 12th National Handloom Day celebrations, JSS Mysuru Urban Haat is organising its first-ever four-day District-Level Handloom Fair from August 6 to 9 at its premises in the City.
Organised with the sponsorship of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the Handloom Fair will be inaugurated by Krishnaraja Assembly constituency MLA T.S. Srivatsa at JSS Mysuru Urban Haat at Hebbal Industrial Area in Mysuru at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The event will be attended by B.N. Veena, KAS, Additional Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation, and Somashekar B.S., Deputy Director, Department of Handlooms and Textiles, Mysuru, as guests.
