Four artistes honoured at 39th Sangeetha Vidwath Sadas
Four artists were honored at the 39th Sangeetha Vidwath Sadas in a ceremony organized by the Narada Gana Sabha Trust. The event recognized excellence in Carnatic music and traditional instrumental performance.

Four artists were honoured at the inauguration of the 39 th Sangeetha Vidwath Sadas here on Friday.
In the event organised by Sri Sadguru Gnanananda Sangeeth Sammelan Srimushnam and Narada Gana Sabha Trust, the title ‘Sangeetha Sreshta’ was conferred on carnatic musician R.K. Padmanabha and ‘Sangeetha Mani’ on three artistes — ghatam exponent Trichy Sri K.R. Kumar, violin exponent Kalyani Shankar, and mridangam exponent M. Vasudeva Rao respectively.
Veteran musician Trichur V. Ramachandran said that these days, it was important to sing the Namasankeerthanam , adding that he remembered singing in the sammelanam several years ago.
