An Indian national was found dead inside an apartment in Jerusalem's Katamon neighbourhood on Thursday, with Israeli police arresting a 31-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The 40-year-old victim was "found lying on the floor with blood" around him, and authorities said the case is being investigated as a suspected criminal offence. His identity has not yet been disclosed."Following the earlier report regarding a 40-year-old foreign national from India who was found dead in an apartment in the Katamon neighbourhood of Jerusalem, officers from the Moria Police Station arrived quickly at the scene and launched an initial investigation together with forensic investigators," the Israel Police Spokesperson's Unit said, according to PTI."The preliminary investigation at the scene indicates that the incident is suspected to be criminal in nature," the police added.Police said they quickly identified and arrested a 31-year-old resident of Eilat on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
