Foul play ruled out in death of man at rented house in Cork

Authorities in Cork, Ireland, have ruled out foul play in the death of a 35-year-old man found at a rented property. This follows a similar recent case involving a man found at a local golf course.
Why it matters
Public safety and the resolution of unexplained deaths are significant community concerns that require transparent reporting.
The results of the post-mortem examination will determine gardaí's course of action.
Gardaí have concluded an examination of a house near Crookstown in Cork after a 35-year-old man was found unresponsive in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man's death was initially described as 'unexplained', but it is now understood that foul play is not suspected to be a factor.
A garda spokesperson said: "The results of the examination are not being released for operational reasons. A file will now be prepared for the coroner."
Gardaí received calls to the scene at the rented house at Farran, on the N22 Cork to Macroom Road, shortly after 3.20am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. It is believed the man, who was originally from Dunmanway, had head injuries.
