Former MLC appeals to engineering students to identify and solve real-world problems

Appealing to engineering graduates to become innovators and technology leaders, former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) S. Rudre Gowda suggested that they identify real-world problems and work towards finding artificial intelligence-based solutions.
He was speaking after inaugurating a two-day national-level AI hackathon, Yugma TechFest, organised by JNNCE in Shivamogga on Friday.
Mr. Rudre Gowda said the event was an excellent opportunity for young engineers to exhibit their skill and intelligence. “The young engineers should improve the quality of ordinary people’s lives by improving the technology through innovations,” he said.
The former legislator said India had earned a unique position in the field of information technology, adding that there had been a growing demand for talented software professionals. “Your talent and expertise can bring about significant transformation in the nation,” he told the students.
