Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar seeks Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat sleeper train
Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar has requested the Railways Ministry to introduce a Vande Bharat sleeper train connecting Bengaluru and Mumbai. The proposed route aims to boost economic and industrial growth across North Karnataka.

Jagadish Shettar, Belagavi MP, has appealed to the Railways Ministry to introduce a Vande Bharat sleeper train service between Bengaluru and Mumbai.
The former Chief Minister met Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and submitted the request, stating that the service would help people of Tumakuru, Davangere, Belagavi, Dharwad, Hubballi and so on.
The MP also said that Belagavi is a rapidly growing city which is considered the second capital of the State. It is making significant progress in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, healthcare, agriculture, and other fields, he added.
