Former Brazilian football stars, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and Edmilson, will play in an exhibition match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, here on September 23. The game between India and Brazil is being organised by Gammen Sports & Entertainment.
The Indian team will feature players like I.M. Vijayan, Jo Paul Ancheri, C.K. Vineeth, N.P. Pradeep, K.T. Chacko and Arnab Mondal. The match is part of the Return of the Titan series, according to the organisers.
At a press conference here on Saturday, the match’s brand ambassador Boby Chemmanur said it was also an opportunity to spread the message of football addiction against drug addiction.
