Forecasters release latest weekend forecast for Latvia - weather set to change
Latvian weather forecasters predict a shift in conditions over the weekend, moving from dry and sunny weather to overcast skies and rain. Thunderstorms are possible in some regions, with temperatures remaining moderate as the school year begins.

On Friday, skies will be partly cloudy and the weather will remain dry. Winds will be light, allowing fog to thicken in some areas during the night, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Across most of the country, temperatures will fall to +8…+11°C overnight, while coastal areas will remain warmer at +12…+15°C. During the day, sunshine will raise temperatures to +19…+23°C.
