Food grains for three months to be distributed in Hyderabad from August 1 - 31
The Telangana Civil Supplies Department is distributing three months' worth of food grains to ration card holders in Hyderabad throughout August. Additionally, the deadline for Aadhaar-linked eKYC for ration cards has been extended to August 31.

Telangana Civil Supplies Department would distribute food grains for Food Security Card (FSC) holders in Hyderabad for the months of August, September and October, from August 1 - 31 through Public Distribution System (PDS).
District Civil Supplies Officer K. Srinivas said that while rice is given free of cost, ₹7 per kg is charged for wheat. The department has allotted 59,602.822 metric tonnes (MT) of rice and 7,279.513 MTs of wheat for distribution among 8,43,607 FSC (ration) card holders in the district, through 653 Fair Price Shops (FPS). People were urged to collect the food grains early to avoid being caught in a rush at the end of the month.
