Delhi has reported a sharp rise in H1N1 cases this year, with infections climbing nearly six-fold compared to the same period last year. A total of 1,344 H1N1 cases have been reported in Delhi so far this year as against 229 cases.An AIIMS doctor said the monsoon and drop in temperature could create favourable conditions for influenza viruses to spread.The doctor said there has been a rise in patients with upper respiratory infections in the outpatient department in recent days.
