In the first half of 2026, the company purchased $42.4 billion in equity securities while recording $23.7 billion in net gains, primarily from unrealized appreciation. Investments span OpenAI, CoreWeave, Nebius, MediaTek, Marvell, Lumentum, and others, with a planned $12.9 billion acquisition of Hugging Face. The company also has $25 billion in outstanding investment commitments.
