Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation chairman Ramappa M. has directed officials to ensure the effective and timely implementation of welfare schemes aimed at the economic, social and educational development of the Bhovi community.
Chairing a review meeting at J.H. Patel Hall of the Koppal Zilla Panchayat on Wednesday, Mr. Ramappa said the benefits of government schemes should reach all eligible beneficiaries within the stipulated time and that officials should respond promptly to the community’s grievances.
He reviewed the progress of schemes implemented by the corporation, including those relating to self-employment, entrepreneurship, Ganga Kalyana, microcredit and land ownership. He asked officials to ensure that beneficiaries under loan schemes received adequate banking support. He also directed Gescom officials to facilitate electricity connections to borewells taken up under the Ganga Kalyana scheme.
