Flowise Is Shutting Down

The low-code AI development platform Flowise is shutting down, citing a shift in developer behavior toward more capable coding agents. The founders have encouraged the community to fork the open-source repository to continue development.
Why it matters
This reflects a broader market trend where high-reasoning AI agents are rendering rigid low-code tools less relevant for complex software development.
When we started Flowise, we wanted to make building AI apps easier and more fun for everyone. Seeing what you've built, from simple bots to massive workflows has truly been the best part of this journey. You have made this project what it is today.
Over the last few months, we've noticed a significant shift in how people build. As AI models become more capable at reasoning, we've noticed that developers are increasingly relying on new coding agents such as Claude Code/OpenClaw to handle complex tasks. The typical rigid workflow low code approach quickly hits the limit when it comes to complexity.
