A broad band of rain and strong winds will sweep across southern Australia on Saturday and Sunday.
There is a flood watch for 10 catchments in Victoria, and thunderstorms are possible in parts of WA, SA and southern inland NSW.
A second front will follow over WA on Monday, and should reach south-east states on Tuesday and Wednesday.
