Flight services from Puducherry Airport disrupted

Bad weather prevailed in Puducherry during the evening hours of Monday, leading to diversion and cancellation of Indigo flights operating from Puducherry Airport.

According to Puducherry Airport Director Rajasekhar Reddy, an Indigo flight carrying 66 passengers from Bengaluru to Puducherry was diverted and another flight from Puducherry to Hyderabad was cancelled due to bad weather.

While intense heat prevailed throughout the day, an overcast sky and intermittent rain was witnessed from around 4.30 p.m in Puducherry.
