About 2,500 passengers travelling on the cruise ship the Carnival Legends disembarked in Belfast on Friday morning, with many hoping to soak up some of the music and atmosphere at the Fleadh.

Dennis and Lana Hopping from Missouri are on their first trip Belfast.

“I’m hoping to see the downtown and I heard there might be a music festival and so we’re hoping to go see all that and hear the music”, Lana said.

“Sounds like a lot of fun to me,” Dennis added.
