NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) targeted the Centre over the Rs 92.35 crore spent on the upkeep of official residences of Union ministers in 2025-26, saying the money could instead have been used to build government schools.“Stop fixing your lavish homes, and fix the schools!” the CJP said in a social media post, reacting to a news agency PTI report that the annual expenditure on renovation, furnishing and repair of Union ministers’ residences had touched a record high.“Rs 92 crore = 10 new world class government schools.
