Five SCR employees receive safety awards

Five South Central Railway employees received safety awards for their contributions to railway operations in June. The General Manager also reviewed monsoon preparedness measures, including increased surveillance at vulnerable bridge locations.

Five South Central Railway (SCR) employees from the Secunderabad and Nanded divisions received the ‘Employee of the Month’ Safety Awards for June from General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday.
The awardees represented various safety categories, including track maintainer, pointsman, senior technician and station master. Congratulating the employees, the General Manager commended their dedication and commitment to ensuring safe railway operations.
Mr. Srivastava also reviewed the department-wise night inspections conducted by senior officers of the Engineering, Operating, Commercial, Electrical, and Signal & Telecommunications departments. He emphasised the need for heightened vigilance at Road Under Bridges (RUBs) prone to waterlogging durings monsoon.
