Five Rest Stops for gig workers to come up in Cyberabad under CSR initiative
Amazon India and the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation have partnered to build five rest stop cabins for gig workers. These facilities, part of Project Ashray, will provide essential amenities like washrooms, Wi-Fi, and charging points to improve worker well-being.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), Serilingampally Zone, and Amazon India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish five ‘ Gig Workers Rest Stop Porta Cabins’ under Amazon India’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The proposed Rest Stops, to be developed under Project Ashray, will be set up at Kondapur, Tellapur, Patancheru, Bharathi Nagar and Chandanagar. The facilities are aimed at providing gig workers with safe and accessible spaces to rest during their working hours.
