According to sources, the five-member family hails from Battalapalli in Sri Sathya Sai district and came to Srisailam nearly a month ago. They were staying in a choultry and did not come out for the past three days.
The choultry management noticed a foul smell emanating from the room in which the family were staying and forced open the doors on Tuesday morning. Police said the two male members were found dead in the room while the three women were found dead in the bathroom.
