A five-month-old boy was found dead at his home in Chintapalli in Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Monday (October 5, 2026). The infant’s family members, including his mother, alleged that the boy’s father might have killed him.
According to local residents, the incident occurred when the baby’s mother had gone to a nearby hotel for work. The infant’s father, identified as Golluru Chandu, was at home with him at the time.
The baby reportedly started crying from hunger, and Chandu took him to the hotel where his mother was working and fed him milk. He then returned home with the child.
Family members alleged that Chandu, who they said was under the influence of ganja, later assaulted the infant, causing his death. The circumstances leading to the child’s death are yet to be established.
