The police arrested a five-member inter-state gang and seized 22 kilograms of ganja, near a bar in Rajamahendravaram city on Saturday (September 5, 2026). East Godavari Assistant Superintendent of Police Patil Devraj said the accused have been identified as Sk. Sadhaq Ali of Rajamahendravaram city, Rahat Ali of Uttar Pradesh, Irfan and Sumit Kumar Misra of Haryana and Sandeep Kumar of Bihar. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, 1985.
